Did you know that there are two kinds of Au Pairs?
One is already in Canada on a study permit, while the other is on his way to work and get international experience. In both cases, these caregivers are given lodging and food in addition to their weekly compensation. Furthermore, many people are young and have no past experience working with children. Here are some differences between the two types:
The timeline for the two types of au pairs is as follows:
- For candidates residing abroad (Full-time au pairs)
It takes around 100 to 120 days for a foreign candidate to arrive in Canada. This timeline includes searching and selecting the candidates, filing legal documents, and waiting for the decision on the application by the Canadian government.
- For Foreign candidates already in Canada (Part-time au pairs)
Hiring a local Au Pair takes about 30 days, the most of which is spent searching for and selecting the ideal applicant.
Note: The closer the Family resides to the student au pair’s facilities, the more likely they will discover a large number of prospects. If we don’t discover any, you don’t have to pay.
