KJV Bible Verse About Family

kjv Bible Verse About Family

A family is a group of people who live in a single household and are connected through marriage, blood, or adoption. Economists say families are the smallest of all economic units. For some people, their family is the reason they first learned about their faith and religion.

Some of us became Christians through family members. When we become part of a family; we become bonified members of such a social group. A son has an inheritance while an acquaintance has none.

Your best friend does not share the same biological qualities as you like your genetics. But, your family members. when we are born into God’s family by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour; we become joint heirs in Christ, receiving an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

KJV Bible Verse About Family

God the Father is seen as the first member of the Trinity, followed by God the Son, Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit, who is considered the third person. God is often referred to be the Father in contemporary Christianity, in part because of his active involvement in human affairs.

He cares about mankind like a father would care for his dependent children, and as a father, he would work in humanity’s best interests. The great myth of the 1950s, a time when 60% of families had a breadwinner father and a stay-at-home mother, presents a dilemma for today’s modern families.

Jeremiah 31:1 KJV

At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people-

Jeremiah 31:1 KJV

Among God’s creations, the family is a masterpiece in itself. Parenthood and marriage are windows into God’s nature. Being a member of God’s family entails having God as your Father.

The majority of people believe that everyone’s father is God. This portion states I will be a father unto them which clearly states the obvious. Scripture, however, informs us that this is untrue.

Since Adam and Eve’s Fall, everyone has been born a sinner and estranged from God.  Having Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior is the only way to have God as one’s Father. You must have your needs addressed in order to be a member of God’s family. The ability to pray to God is available to those who have Him as their Father.

The Prodigal son did have the audacity to go back home- to family  ‘ I will arise and go back to my family…’ (Luke 15;18). Because he knew it was his father he was going to meet. And when his father saw him way off, he had compassion for him. Being a member of God’s family entails having an eternally significant goal for this life. Being a member of God’s family entitles one to an eternal inheritance.

Bible Verse About Death of a Family Member KJV

Bereavement is the period of sadness and grieving that follows the loss of a loved one. Losing someone you love may be one of the most terrible things you’ll ever go through, despite the fact that it’s an unavoidable part of life and something that almost all of us face at some time.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 KJV

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.-

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 KJV

Choosing how to handle losing someone you care about is one of the most significant decisions anybody will ever have to make. While some individuals opt to memorialize the recently lost family member, others may choose to grieve by spending some time for themselves and reflecting on their legacy.

In his letter to the Thessalonians, Paul equates death with slumber. A person expects to awaken when he goes to sleep. Therefore, a believer’s body lies in the grave after passing away.

In order for the Thessalonian Christians to not lament the deaths of their fellow believers in the same manner that unbelievers grieve the loss of their friends and loved ones, the Apostle gives this explanation of what happens when a believer passes away.

Unbelievers have no hope, whereas believers are confident that there is life beyond death. Christians can lament the passing of a fellow believer as a sorrowful but passing separation rather than a lifelong loss. We shouldn’t disregard the fact that Christians whose eyes have gone asleep in Him will experience the resurrection of the body when it happens one day.

KJV Bible Verse About Taking Care of Family

Taking care of something or someone might not just mean giving them physical needs. It includes attending to their social, mental, and emotional needs.  In Ephesians 6:4, the Bible clearly states  ‘Ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture ...'(Ephesians 6:4) This is knowing the psychological need of your child at the moment without actually assuming, especially in times like this.

1 Timothy 5:8 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

But if someone does not provide for his own relatives, and especially the members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.-

I Timothy 5:8 LEB

Apostle Paul then addresses men, in particular, urging them to fulfil their responsibility to support their families. One is believed to have been “denied the religion” if they cannot adequately maintain their own family.

It is the primary responsibility of a man being the head o the family to take good care of his family. It does not in any way makes a point of who is superior or genderizing duties; it is rather an issue of who is supposed to do what for we are all equal before God. Paul added,  … he hath denied the faith.

Christianity is a religion of love, and if this kind of intrinsic love is not displayed by a Christian man, what would be the essence of his faith? The Bible says we ought to let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify the Father for we are the light of the world.

What Does the Bible say About Protecting The Family KJV?

With the contemporary idea of keeping the Bible out of our schools or some people arguing against the phrase on the Dollar bill- In God we trust We owe ourselves to protect the family. Children living in two-parent households are at their lowest level in more than 50 years, according to research: 69% of children now are in this form of family structure, compared to 73% in 2000 and 87% in 1960 (PEW Research Center, 2014).

I Peter 3:7 KJV

Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.-

I Peter 3:7 KJV

Family dynamics are evolving. As divorce, remarriage, and cohabitation are on the rise in the United States, two-parent homes are declining. Families have undergone rapid social, cultural, and economic development, which has increased family complexity and variety. However, God’s word does not change. Despite acultural ideals and policies, we have the right and duties to protect family ideals for our children.

The majority of Peter’s epistle was devoted to discussing Christian behavior and the deference that followers of Christ should have for one another and the wider society. Christian husbands are required to be patient with their wives and to treat them with respect.

There is no doubt that men ought to consider their women not as inferiors but as equals in God’s sight and as a helpmeet that enhances his message, his work, and his will. Weakness does not imply inferiority as we are all equal before the Lord.

Bible Verse About Family Love KJV

It is easy to say I love my family than actually doing it. Many times, some couples do eye service love outside their home. But when they return home, they become cat and dog at home. Remembering birthdays, celebrating holidays, introducing your family members to colleagues are ways of showing love.

The meaning of the word “love” has almost been completely obscured by its numerous uses. Unconditional affection in families is healthy. You still love the other family members for who they are, regardless of what they do, say, feel, or their idealism.

I John 4:8 KJV

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.-

I John 4:8 KJV-

God is love and we cannot love without first loving God. Many times we think we can love a fellow human just because we see them without loving the very intrinsic personality that made us. God’s love toward us is described as agape love. It loves without reason. this is the love of Christ, and we ought to love like the Master because we have the mind of Christ. Love also has to do with discipline.

Even the bible states that God admonishes those whom He loves.  Despite ideals of no child battering, we in fact do not need to. Discipline could come in many forms to help the kids understand family values and grow in the way of the Lord. Train up a child in the way he should go so that when he becomes a youth he won’t be a fool.

Bible Verse About Family Strength KJV

When pack meets with pack in the jungle, and neither will go from the trail, Lie down till the leaders have spoken; it may be fair words shall prevail—Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936). Do you know why certain animals hunt in packs? Especially, the wolves.

Due to a prey species’ size making it impossible for a single predator to take it down, hunting efficiency is low and hunting costs are high. In this instance, the divide of the available meat among cooperators must be made up for by the enhanced efficiency of hunting brought about by collaboration.

A group of predators works together to murder victims in social predation. Because of this, it is feasible for animals to kill larger animals than those they could individually overcome. For instance, hyenas, wolves, and lions have been known to hunt elephants.

Psalm 133:1 KJV

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!-

Psalm 133:1 KJV

The fourth and last psalm of the Psalms of Ascent, which are attributed to King David, is this one. David was the first monarch to unify the nation of Israel, thus it makes sense that he would compose a psalm about coexisting in harmony. When the Jewish people gathered for worship at the Temple, where God had promised to appear, they sang Psalm 133 to convey their happiness. The Psalm gives God’s people blessing and life.

Relationship traits that support the family’s emotional well-being are referred to as family strengths. Families that consider themselves to be strong frequently express their affection for one another, satisfaction in their shared existence, and harmony and pleasure with one another.

Reunions of past celebrations and holidays like Christmas, Easter, and song services tend to encourage family togetherness and adaptation while providing support for both nuclear and extended family members. The Bible tells us that brethren( church members, associates, families) who dwell (celebrate together, check up on another, inspire one another, share in anothers’ grief) will dwell in unity and be strong

What Does The Bible Say About Family KJV?

A family is a group of one or more parents and their children living together as a unit. It is also defined as a crucial socioeconomic class in society made up generally of one or two parents and their kids.

Well, a family could be a group of friends living or doing things together maybe tagging themselves as ‘fam” most especially young adults. Friends are sometimes seen as being as close as or even closer than direct or extended relatives. A family could also refer to married couples without kids.

Proverbs 17:17 KJV

A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.-

Proverbs 17:17

Men often argue that family bonds are stronger than friendships or marriages because “blood is thicker than water.” Blood is thicker than blood, which refers to the fact that the link formed by Christ’s blood is greater than the familial bond. A good friend will support you always, not just when it’s convenient.

Fair-weather friends, or those who are just pals when the weather is nice and cooperative, are not real friends at all. Human civilizations cannot live without relationships; whether they be interpersonal, romantic, or familial links that keep the social fabric together.

Bible Verse on Family Importance KJV

Although everyone is born into a family, not all of them are healthy. Those who are unfortunate enough to not have a nice birth family frequently afterward develop a chosen family. Why is family so crucial? What effects does it have on a person as a kid and an adult? The importance of family can not be over-emphasized.

Exodus 20:12 KJV-Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

A child’s parents and siblings are their very first relationships. These connections, healthy or not, serve as a template for how relationships in the future should be. That is why the Bible says honor thy father and thy mother. It is the family that models the child to be who God intended him to be.

Remember when the Bible states train up a child in the way he should so that when he is a youth, he will not be a fool? When Jesus came to be born on earth, God assigned him to foster parents (Mary and Joseph) who took care of him till he finished His purpose. School, governments, organizations can not take the place of family.

That was why after God created the duo- Adam and Eve, He said be fruitful and multiply. In other words, create a family. For I know Abraham for he will command his family after me (Genesis 18:19)

This is the importance of family.

Bible Verses About Family Problems KJV

John Adams wrote in 1778 that the “foundation of national morality must be laid in private families.”. The intricacy of passions and interests involved in having children, raising children, and tying adults to family life must be taken into consideration when addressing the family as an institution.

When this involves two people, it might potentially cause problems. The major problem with any family problem is that it causes stress and tension inside the family, which then has a detrimental impact on the family’s members especially when it gets to a serious issue like divorce.

Philippians 2: 3-4 KJV

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.-

Philippians 2:3-4 KJV

The Bible has several verses regarding family troubles, beginning with Adam’s shifting of blame, with his wife as the target. legends of Cain and Abel, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph and his brothers, as well as Abraham referring to his wife as his sister.

We don’t always want to use the secret to family unity. “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ,” Ephesians 5:21 exhorts. Rick Warren said, “humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less’.

Our body wants to be in charge and have its way, but submission is the exact opposite of that. Believers should put others above themselves and protect their best interests. We don’t think better of people than they do, but we do freely make sacrifices for them out of love because we have the mind of Christ.

Short KJV Bible Verses About Faith

Hebrews 11:1 KJV-Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

faith is the conviction that God will unquestionably fulfill all of his promises, what is hoped for is based on (and ensured by) the object of one’s trust, in this case God.

Romans 10:17 KJV-So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
