Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company. Our company is seeking a candidate with exceptional truck/trailer skills for employment. As a Driver you will be responsible for the delivery of high pressure cylinders, liquid containers, etc. to customer locations. Someone that is very detail-oriented and willing to work hard is needed for this extremely fast-paced role.

Job Description

This job involves loading and unloading trailers, picking up and delivering tools, and other related tasks.
Salary: $33 Hourly

Responsibilities

  • Fill and empty cylinders, count and note product styles and quantities to make sure the actual load matches the paperwork for shipping.
  • Vehicles should be inspected and marked in compliance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.
  • While performing the designated tasks, adhere to operating and safety procedures.
  • Final shipping orders and all necessary documentation
  • Finalize trip reports, fuel receipts, and any other required documentation.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, making note of any flaws and reporting them to the supervisor.
  • Determine whether a vehicle needs maintenance or repairs, and be responsible for making sure those tasks are completed with the least amount of disruption to operations.

Qualifications

  • Two years minimum of Class 1 (Tractor/Trailer) driving experience.
  • Understanding of compressed gases and their safe use.
  • Valid, incident-free, and relevant for the province Driver’s license with an endorsement for air brakes.
  • Capacity to work with a range of weights and cylinder sizes as needed
    the capacity to lift sixty pounds
  • Training on Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
