Everyone has heard the saying, “Two wrongs don’t make a right.” That is what this Scripture is saying. Instead of paying evil for good, we should do good to people who mistreat us.
It is human nature to retaliate, but God doesn’t want this. Remember the saying, love your enemies. God will punish the evildoers.
Everybody loves a two-faced hypocrite. You know anyone who speaks out of both sides of their mouth—the ones who pretend to be the friend of everyone and genuinely are the friends of no one.
The ones who seek compromise at the expense of truth. The Bible strongly condemns such acts of hypocrisy.
When someone pretends to be a Christian or put on an act, this lifestyle is wholly detrimental to the cause of the Lord and to the truth itself. There are seen as those who do not value the truth.
And if it isn’t essential to them, why should anyone else take it seriously? In 1 Thessalonians 5:15 (NIV), the Bible says, “Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and everyone else.”

Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision? Much in every way. To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. What if some were unfaithful? Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.” But if our unrighteousness serves to show the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict wrath on us? (I speak in a human way.) …

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. Are two wrongs don’t make a right in the bible
Yes! We live in a time when men prefer to call right, wrong, and wrong right. A time when evil is called good and good is called evil. Jesus also spoke of times just like these in Matthew, chapter 24. The apostle Paul wrote of these times in II Timothy, chapter 3.
Here’s what the bible says about equality, Ephesians 5:21 “Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.” faith, … There is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female, slave nor free, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Do not Repay Evil for Evil
It is not right to repay evil for evil; the bible says if you repay good with evil, evil will never leave your house.
Starting a quarrel with anyone is like opening a floodgate, so stop before a dispute occurs. Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent are detestable to the LORD.
What does the Bible say about Fighting Evil with Evil?
The Bible condemns paying evil for evil. Here’s what it says: “Never pay back evil for evil to anyone—respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.
Never take your revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,’ says the Lord.”
It is never in our power and might revenge a single soul. So do not buy the idea of being vengeful, no matter the level of hurt, leave it all to God.
Summary
Keep your standards high. Jesus never stooped to his enemies’ level. Stay focused on what God has called you to do.
